Love Lennox Festival Organizational Committee

The Love Lennox Festival Committee will be clearly identifiable. Their role is to ensure that the Festival is successful and safe for all concerned – the general public, local businesses and stall holders. Their instructions must be followed at all times on the day.

Stall Acceptance

As the Love Lennox Festival is a celebration of Lennox Head and its lifestyle, preference will be given to local Lennox Head based businesses. Ballina Shire based businesses will be given second preference, and only under strict conditions will businesses outside of Ballina Shire be granted access.

Stall Specifications

  • Stalls sites are approximately 3m by 3m.
  • Stallholders must ensure that all equipment used on, at or for their site is safe and secure at all times. Umbrellas, gazebos or other materials used to provide shade or for display purposes must be safely secured to the site in the interests of public safety. Most sites are located on sealed surfaces, so adequate weights must be brought to secure your items from wind.
  • Walkways and public areas must be kept clear at all times. Stalls must remain within the allocated site boundaries unless authorised in writing by the Festival Committee. Any promotional material must only be offered within site boundaries.
  • If your Expression of Interest is accepted you will be notified by email.
  • Your stall location will be allocated to you by the Festival Committee. Locations are not negotiable and may not be changed.
  • You are required to organise your own public liability insurance for your stall, a copy of which must be provided to the Love Lennox Festival Committee prior to the festival day.
  • If you do not already have public liability insurance, please contact an insurer and enquire about once off cover for the day. We recommend local company Hynes Honeychurch Insurance on 02 6687 4000. A minimum of $10 million in Public Liability is required for public spaces in Ballina Shire Council locations, such as the Festival.
  • We are unable to provide power/water/tents or other equipment to your site unless special arrangements have been made in advance.
  • Please check the weather forecast prior to the day. The event will be going ahead regardless of the weather so please be prepared in case of rain and wind.
  • 2017 Love Lennox Festival is a balloon free event. No balloons of any type are allowed.
  • 2017 Love Lennox Festival is striving to be more eco-friendly than our previous events, therefore we encourage all festival stall holders to provide recyclable and biodegradable packaging materials and avoid plastic shopping bags.
  • Previous year feedback indicated visitors to the Love Lennox Festival would love for the festival stall holders to bring an extra chair with them, so visitors could spend more time at your stall!
  • Please be patient with us!
  • IMPORTANT: Please take care to contain and remove your rubbish from your stall site. Festival stall holders are to remove their rubbish by taking it with them by the end of the day. PLEASE DO NOT USE STREET BINS for this purpose.
  • PLS NOTE: Special restrictions, conditions and site fees apply to stalls selling food & drinks. Please feel free to submit your expression of interest and you will be contacted in due course with details.

Goods that may be sold

  • Only the goods/services described in this Expression of Interest form may be sold from your stall.
  • If we have too many expressions of interest for your particular product/service, you may be placed on a waiting list in case of cancellations.

Confirmation of your site & fee payment

Successful applicants will be notified as soon as possible. Once you have been notified, you are required to pay your fee of $60 per stall within 7 days from confirmation. Upon receipt of your fee, you are guaranteed a site at the festival. If your payment has not come through by the deadline, we reserve the right to re-allocate your site to those on the waiting list.

Set-up Procedure

  1. Access to the Festival Site will commence at 6:00am on June 3rd, 2017.
  2. A member of the Love Lennox team will meet you at the road closure and register your arrival, view your Certificate of Currency for Public Liability Insurance and direct you to your allocated stall site. You will receive an email a few days in advance with your stall allocation and instructions for entry to the Festival site.
  3. Vehicles must be off-site by 8.30am, however, please do not set up from your vehicle, we will have only a limited area for vehicles to pass so it is important that your items are unloaded and your vehicle removed as quickly as possible to ensure others can access their sites.
  4. Please do not park on Park Lane, but try to park in the residential area at the northern side of Lennox Head.
  5. Return to your site and begin setting up your stall. Please try to conclude setting up your stall by 8.30am.

Cancellation policy

Whilst we doubt you will want to cancel, we understand that sometimes things happen. Please give us as much notice as possible so that we can arrange an alternative market stall for your site.

  • Cancellation within 14 days, by 20th May 2017: Refund of $60
  • Cancellation within 7 days, by 27th May 2017: 50% refund of $30
  • Cancellation after 27th May 2017: No refund

Single Flavours stall price: $25 Double Flavours stall price: $50 (Please note: You need to be a 2017 Flavours of Lennox participant to apply for a Flavours stall)
